An item that I think is a definite must for your Spring wardrobe, is a pink jacket. Shades of pink was a popular trend for Autumn/ Winter '13/'14, but has carried through into Spring. Since Spring is the season of colour and still slightly chilly, a jacket or light coat in any shade of fresh pink will be a staple. Also, if your wardrobe is mainly black, white or very muted, a pink jacket is sure to freshen up any look.
Many designers featured their version of a pink jacket on the Spring/ Summer '14 runway shows. Even though Spring is a warmer season, a knee-length or a woolen or fur coat will still be greatly appreciated for those crisp Spring mornings.
I recently bought an oversized pink cacoon blazer from H&M, which I am absolutely in love with! It is just too perfect for Spring. I debuted it the other night, and wore it with a head-to-toe black outfit. I paired a black long sleeved cropped top with black pleated shorts, black tights and buckled cut out shoes. I chose simple accessories: lime green drop earrings and a gold hair cuff.
